Finally we Did it

Laura and I on either end of the kids (back of shirts obviously)

Front of our shirts it turned out blurry, but you can get the gist of it How cute are we!

So Laura and I go to Disneyland all the time with our kids and for over a year or two we have been talking about making them t-shirts so we can count them easier while we are there. In the past we have just color coded them and it has helped, then we decided to do BIG numbers on the back. Of course we went overboard and did each of their handprints on the front of their shirt with the title Mouseketeer on top of it with their number in their handprint in yellow puffy paint. On our shirts it says Momsketter on the front and on the back is each of the kids handprints in black with their number in yellow puffy paint in their hand. I have to say they came out super cute.
We had some drama when we decided to do the words on the front by ourselves with press on letters we bought from Walmart. Needless to say that we destroyed two shrits and then decided to pay and get it done at a local store. They turned out way cute and we love the fact that we can quickly and easily count all the children while we are out. Now we are just going to have to make one more set that doesn't say Mouseketeer on it for when we go out to non Disneyland events. We'll see when we get to that. Maybe in another year or so!!
PS I also made the hair bows in all the girls hair. I will try to post a close up later.

I tried to look at the bows in the girls' hair and realized that's one heck of a lot of boys in that group. Was Scarlett the only (little) girl?

The shirts look SUPER cute!

You crack me up! First of all - taking EIGHT?!? Amazing. Second - not only making the shirts but making them all Disney-fied. I would've stopped with the numbers on the back... Or maybe just matching colors... Or probably just "Russell, can you see all the kids?!?"
Yea. That'd be me. Cuz I'm short & those crowds are BIG.
(j/k!!)

That is so awesome. Those kids are going to remember having to wear those shirts for the rest of their lives and make fun of you two for years and then all of a sudden when they are parents, they'll be like, wow, that's why they made us wear those shirts.
